Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury’s eagerly-awaited rematch will take place on Saturday 22 February at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
The two heavyweights will go to war again in 2020 after their December 2018 epic ended a in a split decision draw – a bout many fight fans felt Fury had won.
Wilder remained WBC heavyweight champion and has since defended his belt twice, securing stunning knockout wins over Dominic Breazeale and Luis Ortiz.
Fury famously climbed off the canvas that night in the final round after being caught with a huge shot from the champion. Wilder insists this time ‘The Gypsy King’ will not get up.
He wrote on Twitter: “After February 22nd there will be no more unanswered questions. I will finish what I started, and this time Tyson Fury will not be getting up off that canvas so quickly.
“I’ve proven myself time and time again and I will do it again in February.”
Fury is set to begin his fight camp in early January and will work alongside new trainer Javan ‘Sugar’ Hill after splitting from Ben Davison.
